@Tigerente and Jcwhite, it's true that many of the "new" T39 sets on sale now are re-assembled ones. I got also. But there are still batches of original boxed mc version available. These ones I mentioned have "Made by Ericsson" printed and have three sticker in the back, which looks not good. Have seen people selling for from 70 to 80 euro each.

Might be, that many t39 were original t36, they were just upgraded. Any infos, if the recalled r520 were modified after re-launch or have they new mainboards?

Wrong, T36 has BT!
AFAIK T39 has HSCD and GPRS and T36 has only GPRS.

The SH888 Monster-Edition is quite funny.
Battery is revived and can make a good job now. Still a bit weak, but this will go better from time to time, I think.
I've used the Monster Edition for a phone call just twice for checking the 'monster'-feeling. It's okay and is possible to use this special cover for a call. But I'll give this handset a nice place (safe for dust and water ) where it can rest the next years.

The techn developement is really amazing, that t28 with bhc10 gives 175 h standby time, the same batt with t39 almost 2.5 times more. Same at r320 and r520
