New P900 firmware released today at service centres with EMMA II (including Carphone Warehouse). Don't believe it's released yet on Sony Ericsson Update Service.
Organiser & CDA have both been revised to R3A06 & R3A05 respectively. Have not seen any restarting of phone yet & have over 100 applications installed on Memory Stick!

this new version was relased this morning, or put up on the server, it's not offically announced by that it's released. So it will probably not be available on the online update the nextcoming days. |

@ Cytech-
Put up on what server? Moreover, when has SE actually publicly released any firmware revisions? From what I remember, you either know it's available or you don't. All markets will more likely never have the same revision. Some get it before others do. Sometimes the revision is tailored for a specific market or carrier. I'll ask a couple plp for the log and try to flash it myself if it doesn't become available online.

If i remeber correctly, didn't all the people who updated the first time experience a reversion in the CDA number once we reinstalled the back-up? Does this mean that we will not be able to update? |

@Harleydog -
Are you saying that your CDA reverted from a certain ID after restoring your P900 using the phone backup feature? I don't think the CDA was meant to be upgraded in the first place so therefore it couldn't have reverted from anything. I believe that updater was using some kind of checker to ensure that only phones with OEM firmware could be flashed. Everyone (ie Orange owners) that got their phones flashed from a vendor still ended up with the same revision IDs (ie Phone, Organizer, Cda, etc..) as that of the ones that did it online. This is what showed up on my phone after the online update a while back and what all P900 with the latest (until today) should have on them.

I may have mispoken. I thought I have read somewhere that after the update when a backup of information was made and reinstalled, there was a change to the CDA no, but you may be right, that that cannot be changed |
