Hi all,
I've search this forum and haven't been able to find a direct answer to my questions. Here it is, I hope you guys/gals and help me out.
With my T610, how do I program the phone to see my PDA as paired device? I was able to do it on my PDA to see my phone a paired device but not the other way around. I'm able to transfer files but I everytime I try to send info to my phone, the phone ask for my "okay" before excepting or letting me retrieve files to and from my PDA. I don't want to have to sit there looking at both devices when trying to transfer files and having to click accept on my phone everytime I make a connection.
What's a good program to use to make my T610 act as a modem to I can use my PDA to dial out and get on the non-WAP internet?
Is there a way for the T610 to connect to my PDA and view all the info (pic, sounds, contacts) in folder format. I can see it this way through my PDA but not with phone.
Thanks for the knowledge.

yes, I have noticed that confirmation required every time too with my iPaq 5450/T610/Z600, even though I have the devices successfully paired have no trouble dialing out etc. So far I have not found a solution and I'm guessing there isn't one
you don't need a program to make the T610 act as a modem, its all built in. just ensure you have an internet data account setup on the phone, find out what CID it is.
On the ipaq go to start, settings, connections, connections (again), advanced, select networks, choose bluetooth settings in the first drop down box and click edit, then click new and go through entering the details including choosing bluetooth modem. When you get to phone number enter *99***CID# (where CID is the CID number of the internet data account on the phone). leave username and password blank.
you can then go into internet explorer and access a web page and it should auto dial the gprs connection. the first time you will get the username, password prompt but leave them empty and click to remember the details (or whatever that prompt is) and it will dial out and make the connection.
let me know if you need more help

Thanks for the help. I guess we're stuck with having to "accept" T610's functions.
Where can I find the CDI number?? My service with is T-Mobile USA.
Thanks. |

you find the CID by going into connectivity, data comm., data accounts, then click on the data account you are interested in and there you will see the CID of that data account
