What car should I buy to practice my driving lessons in?
Cos my parents car is a saloon and it is huge and me mum doesn't recommend me driving that. |

Nothing at the moment which is never a good start.
I really want something respectable but cheap and something that won't cause the insurance companies to send people to break my legs in advance.
Yes, yes I know respectable and cheap should never go and will never go in the same sentence when it comes down to cars. |

I drove my dads BMW whilst learning. Company car so free insurance
I found it very helpful learning in a big car, meant i had to be more careful, so when getting into a small car it was really easy to do the manouvers and park etc.
I now drive my mums Golf bought new in 2001, very nice car. Would recomend one to even learn in. But I still take the BM out when I go to my dads.

Don't you have to be 21 to get the free insurance? My mate wanted one that's all.
