Well then we will have a problem... I don't know how we can hardware oc, becourse when you oc an computer you do it from the bios and it is like software... So i belive that we need to tangle with the phones bios (if they have one)... Else we need the blueprint of ether the processer or the phone to know what to change to oc the phones...

Why bother? Much work/truble, and hardly any more speed...there wil be faster phones soon anyway

after reading all of this, i totaly agree with TOMBRA... it is no need to overclock a phone ( it's by the way not possible either) when it's coming faster and faster phones out on the market almost every month now...

p900 has a 32bit ARM9 processor that clocks at around 156mhz. could this be overclocked?

On a computer the cpu's clock speed can be easily adjusted with jumper settings. But in a phone I doubt it. All we need to do is crack one open and look. I don't think it is worth the effort for a speed increase that is mabe unrecognizable minimal if any at all.

you can always pump in more voltage ,its easier (and riskier). t610 uses arm processor,right?

Afaik, windows mobile based pdas can be overclocked.

Even Palm powered ones can be overclocked. My Plam Tungsten T3 runs on a stock 400mhz Intel processor, but when I play graphics intensive games I overclock it to 5++Mhz  Nice

Upping the voltage would be stupid, it would seriously dent the battery life. I know it's very possible to overclock PDA's, my PC is overclocked by a 1ghz using just air, so it's very possible. The t610 is hardly hot at all, it operates at room temperature since it is passively cooled, and the CPU hardly needs any voltage.
However, obviously, BIOS and jumper switches are not an option, you would need to physically solder the mainboard. Assuming a phone is anything like a computer, it will have a clock generator, on the mainboard, and then the CPU will run on a multiplier.
Upping the clock generator would make the whole phone faster, and would probably result in instability almost straight away, as well as things like the clock being run out of sync, unless they've made it independant. Increasing the multiplier on the CPU would be the best option, but (again, assuming it's like a PC) the smallest option is in half multipliers. Now i have no idea if it is a clock gen of 16, and a multi of 2, or a clockgen of 32, with 1x multi. Basically, if its the second then we could get a clock of 48mhz, which is probably aiming a bit high. With the first, then you would get to 40mhz, which seems reasonable. On t610, java games would noticeable improve i suspect, but beyond that, it's rather pointless for most purposes, other than "my t610's faster than yours nah nah" (which is a perfectly good reason, IMHO).
