Does anyone know where I can get a ringtone in the fashion of the old English telephone (two rings versus the single American one which comes as standard on the phone) - for the T610?
I'd be very grateful for any help on this one

Thanks all, it's polyphonic, I've already got the single ring one, it's the double ringer I need. I know some of the Nokias have it available for them. Thanks for any guides

I've edited the single-ring US style old phone tone and made it into something that resembles an old UK style, two-ring tone.

It's not brilliant as I'm still working on it, but you can download the first attempt from:

http://www.notdavidbailey.com/old_british_phone.mid

You'll need a cable / IR / BT to get it on your phone, or use

http://www.euploader.com If you don't have a cable / IR / BT.

I'll post updated versions of the ringtone in this thread as they appear

EDIT: I've just discovered that you can download the ringtone to your phone directly via WAP. Just enter the following address:

http://notdavidbailey.com/old_british_phone.mid

As for the 70's trim phone ringtone, I'll have a go! It's a basic, high-pitched sound and so it should be possible to create a fairly faithfull reproduction in midi format. I'll get me tracker software going! Watch this space...
