Siemens C10 (Vodafone pay as you go, 98ish), Ericsson T28s (fantastic phone, first vodafone contract), T39 (dissapointing - always looked fat after the T28), T68m>i (great phone, still on standby as backup), P800 (yay! almost as big as the old Siemens tho...) |

My first phone was back in '92. It was a Motorola MR1 on Orange. One of the first digital flip phones I beleive. Two line LCD display. Can't even remember if SMS had been born back then! I think it had but nobody to send them to!! Those were the days.....

my first was a nokia5110 back in 97 i think then a ericson t10 then ericson t28 then nokia8210 (until the screen stoped workin...) then a motorolaV60 then my t610.....
my uncle usto have one of the very first mobile fones, it sat on the passenger seat of his car and was a big wooden box and when it rang the horn started going!! |

Mine was a Motorola Flare.
It was pretty old - credit card sim and it didn't have a proper battery indicator! It just had a icon of a battery (or car battery) and it would flash when it would be close to dying.
I miss it...  |

Mind was analogue, Ericsson 'mars bar' (edited cos I got the model wrong.. can't remember it was so long ago!). Very trick at the time... Back in 1992 !
It had a fantastic talk time of 1.5 hours, I used to tell people I'd have it switched on for 15 minutes every hour in case they needed to get in touch with me.
