Hi,I am newby and need a little help. Can anybody advise if there is any flash software for Mobile phones so that if a person calls your mobile and withholds there number, you can revel the number they are calling from. I'm getting funny phone calls at differents times of the day and night, I've contacted my mobile phone line provider and they can see the 'number of the withheld caller' but they can't give me the number because of the data protection act. can anybody help. I am based in England

Can't you complain to the police? The service provider will definitely reveal it to the police

doesn't matter which software you use... you can't see the number anyway.. the number is never sent to your mobile, before the call is forwarded to your phone the number is removed by the switches in the GSM network

I don't want to block the number, I want to find who's making the calls.

Has anybody used this code to reveal a withheld number

*#30# Lets you see the private number

The above is a nokia code.

How do you use it and how does it work

*#30# switchss on CLI (callers number sending)

#30# in front of the number you call will withhold your number.

@Boyi, no worries what you did wont affect your phone, just check your number is still being sent. it should still be, these GSM codes do less now than they used to.

There is an option on the phone that withhold your number before making a call and you can ask your operator too for that

@boyi, Like the man says the "Hide my number" feature is on P800/P900 but is for each individual call, in UK most networks will turn your phone to permanently not send your number, if you ask them, but if you have an extra entry for each number in phone book with #30# prefix, it will not send the number. but i think you need the normal numbers left in there so you can send sms from phonebook.

In the ISUP (the signalling protocol between the MSCs) there is a flag for sing that the calling number is hidden or not. But in BSSAP (the protocol between MSC and BSC) the number is phisically removing. There is on way to get the number over the air.
