i had some problem too!
alway had a distortion sound no matter how strong the signal bar shown.
most of the time my friend told me the background sound is very loud if i happened to be in a busy mall.
do u ppl had the same problem too?
i think the reception is somehow bad as the abovementioned said abt calling when there is reception but never get through.
totally agreed on that part.

Just got my T68 back from repair after the volume control on the side fell off!!! It wasn't covered by warranty and cost me £20.63 at CRC UK. Ericsson wanted £42.50 to do the same job and would have had my phone for two weeks. crc had it 24hours.

Had absolutely no troubles from when I got my T68 in November, but in the last couple of weeks the joystick has come loose, got the number for the service centre now so will call them soon to see about getting it repaired/replaced, hardware version R1B

Im having lots of problems with my T68m!

*Its freezes
*It turns it self of
*No Network available (when I know there is by checking on friends phone)
*Extremely slow in menus and T9 (Might like all the others but I sees it as a big problem)
*The soundquality of incoming gets "unhearable" some times

Its at the ServicePoint for the third time now, if Ill have ONE more problem with it, Im going to demand to have my money back and buy something else in a different store!!
(Might be T68i )

Got the exact same problems.

Does the R2B-013 update fix any of this???

... or is this a hardware problem somewhere as well?

Isn't the T68m and T68i the same phone except for the software?

SonyEricsson says that the two phones will have the same memory etc., just have different appearance.

I DON'T REALLY BUY THIS?!

Anyways, hope to se if my second update fix my current problems!

Other than that, nice phone.

Finally got a new T68m after 3 times at service each one at least for 2 weeks.
I had display problems the first times and the 3:rd it just didn’t start.
The new one seams to be ok.

Hi Gnuig!!
No the problem got even more worse with R2B, but since its the newest so
No it keeps turning off by itself more and more often, everytime I send it in for service they load the newest SW to it (R2B) and the more it has been done the more f**ked up is my T68m

Right now when Im writing this, Im thinking of change brand completely - Ive never had any kind of these or similar problems with Nokia!!
But I´ll probably give T68i a chance first!! But if the same errors starts to occur then better watch out!!!!!

There cant be so many "new in box" T68m left in the stores!?
