Personally, the Sendo-X will have a greater chance of being a P800 killer... It's a damn good-looking phone. |

Ok, first of all... with those screen dimensions... this thing is going to be as big as their current 9210... and I'm sure there's going to be video recording. Nokia isn't stupid when it comes to marketing. THey can't invent or engineer anything for $#!+ but they do know to please their existing customers.
I don't think this, or any Nokia Communicator can ever match an SE device... They're just catching up to the T68i right now. |

My heart says p900 but like one of the last posts, the Sendo X is right now the only serious contender to P900.

See, sendo x can compete unlike that nokia brick. I immediately thought of the n-gage/gameboy advance kind of thing when i saw the nokia brick... But sendo x does not have a touch screen AFAIK... Which still makes P800/P900 the best phones ever... |

Think it can kill aliens!
Looks like a something from Star Trek.
It's not a PDA phone... its a media phone.
I don't think it has a good calendar and todo app.
And it cannot edit word and excel like the P800 and P900 (with QuickOffice).
It even disappointed Nokia fans because it isn't a replacement for the Communicator!!! Just because it's touch screen means it is a PDA. |

Looks like a crossbreed between an old digicam and a gameboy. With added gayness - like most other Nokias. Damn, they just dont seem to get it right. Nokia applies to little people, teenagers. My littlebrother would like that one... I hope... because if not... nobody will...
Nokia totally blows.... |

The thing that most people seemed to have missed is that the 7700 has EDGE support which means (if any operator in Europe ever gets around to implementing it) you can get about 384 k/s on the downlink (with no-one else in your cell, a following wind, etc. etc.)
Now that is an interesting proposition, almost 3G access speed from 2.5/2.75G technology.
For those in the know all that the operators require for EDGE is a base station software upgrade as it just changes the coding technique for GPRS, a much cheaper way to provide 3G access speeds.
If only the P900 had EDGE I might just consider buring a hole in my wallet................ |
