Grokos Joined: Aug 28, 2003 Posts: 78 PM	Posted: 2003-10-17 20:40 Yestarday i receive the new memory (128mb) so i decide to format everything and i install all from the begining I did already a full buckup of teh phone (internal/external 16mb) memory and i've transfer also all my contacts to outlook. First of all i don't want to do a restore on the internal memory because there are some 'trash' from previous installations (game/application folders etc.) that i don't want to heav it again in internal memory. A problem that i have is that i can't transfer to outlook the calendar and i don't know why happent this. Is there another way to restore via the restore application only the contacts and the calendar? Or....is it possible to see or edit a backup file from P800? Thanks

Mrs.Quit Joined: Sep 26, 2003 Posts: 52 From: Germany PM	Posted: 2003-10-17 23:12 Well, technically, the only way you can go about your restore is to restore the file you already have, then from your phone delete, all other applications which you feel are trash. You see, restoring files are usually read only files. So, to be safe, you need to restore everything to your phone, then erase all things you no longer want, then back that file up. Back up is copying everything (including your trash), and you may only restore it to the appropriate disk. If you backed up only the C drive, then you can only restore it to your C drive, and likewise for your Disk. You cannot back up C drive, then expect it to be restored to your Disk.
