i notice that my P800 internal memory 4 contact will keep increasing eventhough l delect pic.,change to default tone...anybody encounter that? BTW my sw is R2F

Have U tried compacting it?. U can use one of the free third party s/ware to compact.

I never notice that. But I would love to know if it is how it works, then I must be careful in handling my Contacts in the future.

I am using Contacts Control from www.goldaguti.net which I use to compress the database.

ya i have found out my problem...when i try to add a new contact...guess what? the screen shown:compressing contact then register the new contact.

i then go to control>storage manager...YES the contact memory has compressed from 3MB to 137kb

so, my conclusion is the contact will compress itself when it reach a pre-defind stage but the contact control will let us the user to compress it ourself as this is important especially when we want to install large programs/games that exceed the internal memory.
