Due to my new health regime i am walking to work which is half hour each way, so i thought i would splash out on myself. The kit consists of 128Mb Duo, Garmin 2.5mm to 3.5mm adaptor, and my baby the Sennheiser HD-580 not to forget my other prized posession the lovely P800. I know im blubbering here but i am estatic that the P800 can power the 580's quite well. All my songs are in Ogg format so i can fit a few on the 128Mb. THE P800 IS THE DOGS DANGLIES!! |

punish sony for their memory stick duo. whats 128 mbyte ? NOTHING ! i can by a usb memory stick mp3 player for 1/3 the price of a single memory stick duo. not to mention, that there is no other (bigger) option than 128 mbyte. |

The point *is*, that the P800 is a pretty well-rounded all-in-one device; I take my P800 with me, so that I can leave at home:
- digital camera
- T68i
- Gameboy Advance
- PDA
- MP3 player
...since my pockets aren't big enough for all that kit!

I just bought a 40gb ipod, and I think that the P800 sounds far better. It has a higher volume and the ipod distorts using the eq settings on tracks with a lot of bass.
I switched the headphones on the P800 haddsfree for a set of Sennheiser MX in-ear phones, and I have another set for use with the ipod.
Even though the P800 is limited to 128Mb, I still think the sound it puts out is far superior to the ipod. It may have a huge memory but in my opinion the souns lets it badly down.
