Hello
my p800 was short on memory and then i got an sms, and the phone froze. I took out the battery and tried to turn it on again but it doesn't work. It buzzes once when I hit the power button and then nothing happens, no error message, no display, nothing. Anyone knows how to do a master reset without having the phone powered on?

Problem: the P800 requires a minimum of 2MB free on the internal c:\ drive.

Solutions:
1 - format c:\ drive, restore a backup (unlikely that this is possible though);

2 - Take the phone to a service cntre and get the firmware flashed. That *will* fix it...

Well I done a search and found some more info...

Take the sim out....switch the phone on....wait for as long as necessary and hopefully a message should come up saying data corrupted a format will begin.....then just click ok to whatever it says...and BINGO back to factory settings.....and if you have been backing up then hopefully you wouldn't of lost too much.

I lost about a week of my life but not too bad...main thing is my P800 is A ok

Thanx Spc for replying...I hope this extra bit helps you Qvist or anyone for that matter

I did what you said and it formated the phone, and it worked fine. But now i can't choose language on the phone, only english is available. Might be a stupid question but I'm asking anyway=)
