Just bought a P800 and now i find out the P900 is out next month. i am so annoyed.. The P800 will look so tacky in comparison to the P900. What is a general ballpark figure for selling a one week old P800? Also does anyone know an estimated figure on the cost of a sim free P900?

It would seem you did not do your research.

If its only a week old can you not take it back?

It seems as though the price of the P800 is going to drop drastically - to upgrade from the cheapest contract it cost $100 for the P800 how about this?

Like I said... try and take it back. some carriers give you some time to change your mind! check it out if you are really that unhappy.

If it is a contract don't you have a 14 day money back gurantee sort of thing? In which country are you in?
You could do an upgrade of the contract when the p900 is out and you can keep the p800

Even if now the phone cost 250 as you said in a month it loose the half of its price.Yuo cant sell this for 250 even if its new more than 150 i dont thing you find someone to buy it so i dont think its worth to sell it really.

I guarantee you that with Orange you get a 14 day period in which you can choose to return the phone. I'm not sure if you can cancel the contract completely, but you should at least be able to swap the P800 for a cheap Nokia or something and put the money towards a P900.

I know that leaves you tied into the contract, but doesn't UK law give you a 14-day cooling off period for that as well? If not, you may just have to swap for a cheap handset and buy a P900 sim-free when it's released (expensive but the only option I can see if you have to keep your current handset).

You think the P800 looks tacky! :rolleyes

I think the P900 looks bland! At least the P800 is fairly funky and like nothing else on the market! If you want the cheap grey plastic look get the grey case for the P800!

Personally although the P800 is a little flimsy and tends to develop a few squeeks I like it, its a good size, TBH any smaller and folk would still just think it was a fat phone, at least this way it looks like a tiny PDA!

As I have said before the P800 is a man's phone, its for real men. The sort who go out into the woods and kill things, slap each othe ron the back, drink whisky, smoke cigars, fart in public and other manly things. A BIG phone is a must, I'm only sorry the P800 isn't bigger. It should make a statement.
If you want something small and flimsy get a Nokia. You shouldn't be ashamed of your phone, hiding it in the palm of your hand or slipping it into a secret pocket in the lining of your jacket. You should be advertising that you have a P800, flash it around, hit people with it, make people warm a spot on the floor of the toilet for it before you take a leak.
Nobody will mind any of this behaviour at all, because your a real man with a real man's phone.
