sounds like you are trying to download it from a wap page that has not been configured correctly with the MIME types.
have a read of this for example.

actually i didnt download it off a wap site. i just uploaded it to tripod.lycos.co.uk just like for example http://members.lycos.co.uk/mosedrengen/WinXP.thm i jus entered the full URL of the .thm file and the WinXP.thm downloaded n useable without any errors. i think it is a problem with my theme creator pro software cos i tried opening the WinXP.thm in theme creator pro n then save it again without making any changes, uploaded the WinXP.thm to my lycos folder n tried to download it. it gave me that error. hence this rules out the errors on my part with respect to correct MIME setting or image formats used. |

Nope - you do need to add an .htaccess file to the file that holds the theme if you are to download via wap. The T610 (&others) need the mime-type on the server so it knows what file type is being downloaded & where the phone must put it.
eg:
.thm = theme.
.jpg = picture
etc etc
Look on the thread above for further help.

Your search was very bad, because there are few topics with the theme MIME type here on Esato and even on TCPro's forum!
And once again TCPro has nothing to do with this error message...
