when will the p900 be released in asia/singapore?
i can't decide whether to wait for the p900 or go ahead and get the p800 @ SG$888 with 2 year plan
another thing - from what i read in the forums, when the p800 first came out, there were plenty of problems with it... what made it worse was the poor customer service... etc etc.
do you think this will happen with the p900 too?

@fijbert
Hey! Let's not get personal here by calling me an amateur, once you enter that road you're proving to yourself who the amateur is!!!
16Mb IS 4Mb difference from the 12Mb I agree, but an additional 4MB is totally useless when you compare it to the rest of the phone!! The P800 has a 4096 screen and uses 12Mb to swop information around. So to throw in UIQ2.1 (more memory) AND go from 12Bit to 16Bit graphics, 4Mb is useless! You will barely notice a difference.
I didn't mention UIQ2.1 in my original post because I'm fully aware of what UIQ2.1 IS and what is DOES. Having the SDK's here at my place of work I am fully conversant in it's abilities and agree it's a damn good piece of kit.
Just because the P900 has UIQ2.1 doesn't mean it's great, because it may not use the features of UIQ2.1. So no, I'm NOT ignorant, just have common sense and been bloody practical!
Profiles!!! Whoooooooooooooaaaaaa! Hey, I thought I was buying a phone with some good PDA capabilities here, not an expensive piece of equipment that one day I can have Kylie's knickers as Icons, and the next my dogs first turd!
MP3 Ringtones. O yeah, I can really appreciate the quality of MP3 on a single speaker now. Now, let me see, 10 seconds worth of different MP3's for different people in my contacts list. Now, how much memory have I got? Er, 16Mb I believe to swop all this information around. GREAT!!!!
Improved Hand Writing. Correct me if I'm talking b0llocks here, but isn't a handwriting recognition system only as good as the persons handwriting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
T9 - Ahem, no comment. Bet DragonFly is gonna love em!!!!!
I'm not bashing the phone at all. I'm giving comments about an eagerly awaited phone that I personally don't think is as good as it's predecessor. (Again, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this view called freedom-of-speech that you west-of-the-atlantics preach so god-damn-son-of-a-bitching-much-about!!!)
And as for the less people that buy the phone the better for you approach, er, [snip]!!!!

i would definately suggest the wait... you will not be able to sell the P800 once the P900 is released..

hm... true. but the review says it'll cost about 650 euros when it comes out... and it may have many problems when it first comes out like the p800 when it was first released. and to top it all off, se may even delay and delay and delay the release date, like the p800
anyway have a look at this:

I bought two packs.
I don't use them - they're not really as good as I thought they were going to be.
