Is there any software for viewing that .3gp movie file in a PC?

Try Apple's QuickTime 3GPP Component (which requires QT Player 6.3) or this Platform4 Player from Philips

for everybody who is desperate to get a p900, it will be launching in november to support the launch of video messaging. i have used the handset and can assure you it is a lovely phone. price will be on contract around 400. but should be able to get it cheaper on higher contracts.

(Ups... just posted in another thread with this same review.)

And yes, I have been waiting for an 'official' word from too... (I didn't opt for the p800, but still waiting to see if the sx1,6600,or maybe z1010 will be released anytime soon also) this review tells us that the phone should be released very soon. Best guess...

Late November? Early December? Anybody...

Maybe it will hold true with that Sony-playstation anniversary date??? (read about it somewhere, but as they say, don't believe everything you read).

GREAT REVIEW!!! (I should mention the french one too)

Cheers.

According to the review Yes, it can be removed, just as it's predicessor the P800.

Look at the pics... from the description and 'boxed-material' there follows 1 ekstra flip (don't ask me why... that remains to be seen?)

Where??? I can see that in that test (??)
I all other test, they just talk about 1 flip, the standard one.. µ
Just one guy once showed a picture of a P800 (with flip) and a second flip near the phone.. but that's was very logic because he had 2 P810/900 and one without flip, the one who took the picture lolll

A much better test is this one, just because they really tested it (new software, soft from p800,...), not just reported :
http://81.91.70.85/mobilbpit/forum/index.php?act=ST&f=19&t=5195
but in french, use a translator
And they don't talk about a second flip either...

nothing new so far in the hardware, the phone however, looks re-innovated!

But I was wondering, if the phone is new only in software wise, i.e no new hardware modifications, could this mean that we can 'flash' our P800's to that new software?! Like the T68m>>T68i?!

Just wondering

re-innovated backwards.... it's called back to the future loll
he looks like a sony from 4 years ago... is that good or not? but certainly not a "new" or innovative design !

Why not a beauty like a T610 , no.. they had to give us an ugliness like a Sony CMD-Z5.
It seems that people who claimend that this was the original drawing for the P800 coming from Sony, that Ericsson did refuse, where right ! Is it good to go backwards in Design? Is it because ti's new that it is better?
This is truely just a facelifting....

What? are oyu trying to say it can't be removed? We all saw a lot of picutes of a p810/900 whithout flip and it's delivired with a screwdriver (to remove the screws...) and a black replacment under cover for using it without flip !

So, 2 questions from me.
Do you thing the camera quality is now as good as the one of N3650, or it is still as awful as the one of P800?
What would be the price WITHOUT a contract in Euro?

This is taken from the review itself...

"...Now, the first difference from P800. The keypad is not made as a separate block; it doesn’t have any contacts with a touchscreen."

Don't you guys get it? The keypad is not made as a SEPARATE block. This means it cannot be removed according to the reviewer. I may be wrong but that's just what the review says.

BTW, in one of the screenshots, you can see the usual flip open interface with the flip closed. Confused? The pic is somewhere in the middle of part 1. I guess this is what they were saying that you can use the stylus even when the flip is closed. ????

@spooky

the camera quality of the P800 is not awful!!! It's the screen that makes the difference. The nokia screens does a good job in blending the colors so pictures taken look better on the phone compared to the p800. When the prictures are downloaded in the PC, the p800's pics are sharper. (You get better pictures with the latest firmware of the P800) The P900 would probably have the same picture quality.
