2nd hand T68i vs brand new T610 |

things must be really tight out where some of you are....in the UK the T610 is far cheaper than the T68 ever was when released, 2nd hand value on the 68 is next to nothing considering people were paying upward of £200 - £300 when it first came out here.
i've got a T68i and 2 gold T68's sitting in my room simply because they're not even worth selling as they dont command much with newer models prices so low...better off just giving them to relatives who need a phone or keeping as spares.
not everyone needs the camera on their phone, its just nice to have and you find uses for it once you have it if your the type to play with your phone.
if your getting a T68 2nd hand dont worry about the box or CD software, you'll have to download newer software from the SE site anyway. |

Buy the T610. The camera is not the best (7250 has a better one, that's another FORUM topic!), but the ringtones are awesome, the menu "lightning" quick compared to the T68i, and the screen BRILLIANT. If you get the T68i, you will have a hard time trying to sell it and you will forever regret not having bought the T610, arguably the best phone on the market today!
If it is to be it is up to me! |

decoy7: i just feel that the asking price for a brand new t610 here isn't worth it ($315). I could've gotten a 2nd hand t68m for $92 and upgraded it but I let go of the chance. Now, to think about it, it would have been cheaper to have it upgraded than to buy a t68i second hand.
Geezay: I'm hoping when (and if) the z600 is released here (December 2003) then the t610 "might" go down.
I'm still looking for people willing to let go of their t68i (or t610) at a ridiculously low price |

a few days ago, chris725 had a good deal at the market place. it didn't last long tho, so that probably tells you a lot how good it was.

If u go for functionality plus value, than go for t68. But if u want extra features n don't mind 'bout the price t610. Depends whether u can wait till the price drop juz like pentium which keep getting cheaper when they release new ghz speed. Juz ask urself wat u really need n wat u can live without.

Practicality wise, I guess I will have to buy a T68i - and I just "DID" !!! Screen resolution is definitely a big plus for the SE T610. What I did is I bought 'almost' "ALL" of it's optional accessories, minus the bluetooth (for the mean time). Mca-25 camera, FM radio and the very elusive (in Manila) "CHATBOARD". I carry a small 'clutch' bag (RL) where I can all put them in everytime I go out. But if given the 'prudent' chance to choose from the very elite and best fones out in the market at present, there is definitely no doubt in my mind that I'll "really" go for the SE P800!!! - case closed!
