so the software can be downloaded and the tree is dead anyway...
is there supposed to be a handsfree set?
GOwin:
I don't think they kept the receipt. People have a bad habit of throwing away receipts here... but i'll check anyway.
I'll check the software forum, too
Thanks, GOwin, -T68-
(I have to check the joystick count, too... what's a 'good' count?) |

Ignore the joystick count it aint that important. My phone works perfectly and has a count of over 500,000! Every time that the firmware is upgraded, the joystick count resets anyway.... So it doesnt give u a true figure anyway. My friend bought a t68m recently and has said only good things about it.

I'm looking for a decent t68i with the latest firmware but it's rather hard to find.
The one that I mentioned had scratches and dents on it and I think $92 asking price isn't right.
I'm looking for a new phone to replace my 6610... Still looking... |

Hi guys, i really appreciate what u posted, i'm also planning to buy a t68i this weekend, i like its features, but i often use the sms, do you think the slow reaction of the phone would affect writing txt messages? thanks... by the way, what's the latest firmware of the t68i so that i can check the phone when before i buy it? and how do i check it? thanks
Hi dmxmd... why go for a second hand t68i here? the brand new ones sell for only USD 135, that's a bargain... I'm planning to buy a new one, but i'm quite undecided with the t68i because of its reportedly unsteady firmware... i havent used an SE phone before, so i'm still checking out other alternatives...

I own a Nokia 6610. I managed to borrow a t68m for a couple of days. I can say I got used to some of the quirkiness of the t68m. I got used to it enough to miss it when I finally returned it. It's a nice phone and I regretted not buying it.

Unfortunately, I'm from the Philippines and that's how it is here. I'm still looking for a cheap 2nd hand t68i.
What's important to you? the bluetooth? or the price? |

It's very very hard to look for a decent second hand phone that you could purchase at a low price, If I am the seller and I know for a fact that I'm selling a very well maintained phone then why will I sell it very cheap if I can get a better deal with it.
I suggest that you buy from somebody you know personally or probably from a friend of a friend, at least you would somehow know the real history of the phone. And mind you, the personality of the seller reflects a lot how they value the things they have.
It's not a big deal whether it was just purchased recently or last year, what is important is how the past owner used it bec. I would rather buy an older phone with an older firmware version that is very well taken cared of than a newer phone that was used by a someone who does not know how to value their things.

get the t610! if you are gonna buy now.. buy the newer one... the t68i is already outdated... with the less colour screen and screen size and lack of poly-ringtones and the camera all are often found in new higher end phones |

one reason why i am still considering a t68i is because i don't need a camera phone. I think a camera in a phone isn't worth it. I'd rather have a small phone with BT and no camera.
it would have been the s55 but they didn't release it here.
and i don't think there's any BT phone without a camera in the near future. my only hope is when the z600 is released t610 prices will drop. maybe then i'd consider... |
