Brilliant. After hearing that it is possible some time ago I have been waiting for someone to find out how to do it (couldn't find it myself)

Thanks!

It's in "Edit Contact". You can copy/paste the number between different number types for the contact.
If I had all the answers, I wouldn't have any questions.

nauti_n_coo, you don't press &... that just means AND.

so when you have a number highlited you press the * AND 1 at the same time, or * and 2 at the same time, or * and 3 at the same time

Ok, so far the hidden tricks or can we say hidden mickeys?Ü on the T610 are as follows.

- On the edit contact menu:

1. Hold * and press 1 to cut
2. Hold * and press 2 to copy
3. Hold * and press 3 to paste

- On standby menu:

1. Hold 'c' - silent mode (c again to go back)
2. Hold '#' - view screen saver (if activated)
3. Hold '+' or '-' (side buttons) - activated voice command
4. Press *#06* - view IMEI code
5. Press >*<<*<* - Service Menu

- On clock screen saver screen:

1. Press '+' or '-' (side buttons) - Light up clock (no need to go to standby mode to view)

- Call list trick (arranging callers based on time and from whom)

Press 'calls' to view call list, pick from list and press 'more'. Select 'edit before call' then press 'c' to clear number. Hold '0' till '+' sign appears. Make the call, but as soon as the phone tries to call, press 'cancel'.
View the call list again....viola! Already sorted.

- Hidden smileys

1. : - x (w/o spaces because here it turns to the grumpy face icon.Ü) or :-* (kiss), :] (big smile), :[ (big frown), [:] (grumpy)
Take note these [ and ] characters wont be seen in the normal text characters. Go to internet then enter address. Press 1 then you'll see a bunch of characters with these included. Save as bookmark. Send bookmarks as text (just to have them typed in the message area) save them in the Dictionary. Now you can see them in your T9 inputs.

- Camera shortcuts (R1L Firmware)

1. 'Up' or 'Down' (joystick) - Adjust brightness
2. Press '1' - cycles through small or big image
3. Press '2' - cycles through night mode and back
4. Press '3' - cycles through B/W, Sepia, Film contrast, normal modes
5. Press '4' - activates/deactivates timer

- 13 second trick (have not tried it...dont know if it really works)

Well, these are the only tricks that I know so far...If you still have some, please share it with us. Cheers!Ü

@caff:
The new firmware (R3B) does this by default. Recorded sounds now play loud in "My sounds"
If I had all the answers, I wouldn't have any questions.
