Ah rite, £15, £20 pounds then. not bad i guess. Just the price of a Nokia Xpress on cover.

Hi,
Has anybody actually have changed the cover? I mean is it easy? somebady posted that in 15 minutes (aghhh) coinsidering how clumsy I am it means NO covers
Would any of those covers we are talking about be genuine (SE)?
Yes I prefer the look of the Girlie T68i...probably because I am a girl

it's quite easy to change cover... just as long as you have the right tools...
a guide on how to change it can be found at http://www.totonox.com/changecover/cover.htm
just remember that if you'll change it by yourself (or any other unauthorized person) the warranty will be lost. So you'll change it on your own risk..

yes... if you go to a servicepoint you can get the cover change done for a small charge.... |

Are you sure? Do you or anyone else tried this at SE service point?
Because otherwise many people would have changed to gold model so it wouldn“t be so rare or not?
Ideas, comments?

Hi Baloola, I'm sure if you went to your service center and said you cover was crap or broken, damaged... then they would change it, they might not have the gold one in stock though...
The things is, if you want them to place a not-original cover on the phone, they might not want to... It is quite easy to do it yourself and many of the Esato users have done so... It's pretty much impossible for the centres to see that you have opened it yourself. So if you f*ck up, then you just go to the service centre with your warranty and say that something is wrong and they'll have to open it to take a look and then you can just give them the new cover and ask them to put that on (while they're doing it anyway...then it's free )

as a point of referance- SE charged £45 to replace the front housing on a t28 (someone unclipped the flip and they dont go back on so it needed a new complete housing),
I would expect it to be at least as much for a t68i housing. |

Thanks for the info
So I guess I could find original covers at SE service points then.
Any website selling originals?

Luckly there are as many diffrent opinions of
whats good looking and what is not, otherwise
we would live in a very boring world. Nokia
picked that up early making it easy for ppl to
personalize their phones to look like noone elses.
has come a long way with T68 being Themable
now they just need to make it cheaper to get the
cover changed w/o losing quality and warranty
(Nokia phones often get dust inside when you can change cover as easy I don't know if is more dust proof It should be since
the casing ain't x-press on).
