The m55 looks cool and it sports nice features, such as letting you import your own wav files as ring- and messagetones (or is it only ringtones? correct me if I'm wrong) but IMO it fails in one important aspect: the buttons isn't especially user friendly. While looking good, they're small and hides too quick in the solid plastic case of m55. I, for one, finds this not especially comfortable and this was the main reason why I passed on m55 and decided for t610.
Of course it may be just my big hands that has a problem with it.
If you're okay with the buttons, then the m55 just may be the phone for you. But you may also want to check out the s55 (much better buttons) or wait for the new SE T230.
Anyway good luck deciding

nah that totally sucks. it looks ugly, its thick it runs with wap 1.2.1 and not 2.0, and it only has a 16 tone polyphonic speaker. |

I do bother the 256 colors
So I want the M55
And I almost never use BT or IrDa
A cable is just fine
I asked around about java and battery
The Java works fast only startup is like T300.. takes abt 10-20secs
The battery life of the M55 is about 7-13 days
If you really play much on the phone it will reduce to 4 days
Same like my phone
The T230 looks cool but it's almost the same as my T300 only some better theme compatibility and more colors

dude, java might have more games then mophun but you cant press more than one button at once! now that sucks when playing action games. and dynamic light is for crappy poseurs. the flash cam is good though. and the t230 ALSO has animated screens.
ah what the heck just go for what you want. looks like you got ur mind set on the m55. i cant change that. |

hehe
But I don't like the games that are made for Mophun
With Java I got cool games like SplinterCell Mario Tetris Snake etc.
And I don't think the phone will be cheap here (t230)
