Using "Options" I have unmarked both available options in the "Regional settings" in order to use 160 characters in one sms while using scandinavian characters like åäö. But there are to problems: 1) Capital "Ä" results in a "triangle" for the reciever, not the letter "Ä". 2) Capital "Ö" results in a "O" with a vertical line in it for the reciever, not the letter "Ö" Other combinations of scandinavian letters work though (Ååäö but not ÄÖ).
Any ideas what's wrong?
(Don't tell me to use the force or strict options since then I'll be down to 60 characters in an sms instead of 160.)

So... have you connected sucessfully with FMA using Widcomm 1.4.3 ? why I ask this, because AFAIK is only older version can have connection with FMA. |

Just got my Z600 to work using the serial port connection rather than Bluetooth. Man, this little program does everything so much better and more simply than the rubbish from Sony Ericsson I was using. Nice one, Float! |

this is a good software! it works wonders with my T610! just follow all the instructions in setting this software (it is kind of complicated, if it's the first time you're installing this software, but it's worth it...)

Mine has some script errors on the startup! What should I do? It sais that it can't find the scripts!

try to modify the correct path of your script folder

There is a bug in the Fma Installer (as of today it's Fma 0.1.1.16) which doesn't sets correctly a path in this very file. You need to go to the Edit > Script Code... menu and change line 71 (or 74) from:
C:\Program Files\Fma\script\
to:
C:\Program Files\Fma\sframework\
Then you should be good to go. |

FMA is a great software designed for Sony Ericsson phones. i give it a thumbs up! however, i have a question: has anyone ever experienced sending a group message within FMA? i have sets of groups in my T610, so that i can send a single message to multiple recipients. but when i try sending a group message using FMA, it displays an error message: "error encoding PDU"...

Fixed it, with copyin "Stramework" dir and rename it to "Scripts". Thnx anyway

i have troble with fma. everytime i try to use it after ive installed it, when i click on the shortcut on my desktop i have all these popups saying it cannot find files or somthing but i ignore them then i can access fma but the it wont work with my sek700i and ive tried downloading the software from other sources but the one i downloaded was from the official site and still the same happens

It's a known problem and it's easy to fix! Real easy when you know how to do it! Do a search and you'll find out

I REALLY like to use the "pc as BT headset" function in FMA.
The problem is, I dont have widcomm drivers.
I'm a totlal novice in programing, so I dear not try mwalters tip - patch yourself.
Can anyone help me out?
(I'm using a ST-Lab dongle class-2)

I've found some info on patching HP's widcomm drivers!
I'll try it out (using ST-Lab's) and post when know more.

I was wondering if someone could clarify my noob question for me  What is synchronizing? I have a s700i and the new software works great with it. Now i clicked on "Synchronize Phone Contacts" and it did its thing but i have no idea what it did? LOL. Did it store my contacts somewhere on my pc or what? Thanks in advance 
Also one last thing, I have posted a pic for you, can someone tell me whats wrong! It wont let me download the items off my phone that have the little black mobile phone next to them =( All the rest i can download them onto my pc but not the ones with the little black phone next to them. thanks!

Ok, im pretty sure its doing it because of the size of the files, they are pretty big, could this be correct? If so is there any way around it?
Hrrrmm, maybe not, cause a photo of 18kb it wont let me get either.....
