Not really but you could turn the phone sideways and take the picture and then use the built in image editor to rotate it. Oh and yes you can send it via mms.

The image size taken with the camera on a T610 is quite large and it seems like it can not be sent to a Nokia 7250 via MMS even with setting the image size to small. Any ideas?

What do you mean? Is it impossible to send a MMS from T610 to Nokia 7250? Hmm...

I dont see why you shouldn't be able to do that. T610 is a very nice phone.

I can send mms from my t610 to my 7210 without any problems. The nokia resizes the image to fit the screen. Could it be a limit to the size of mms by your operator?

If you look at the manual, the camera button on the left side of the phone is really meant for this purpose, meaning, taking landscape format pictures. Ruff Rider is 100% correct.

As far as MMS goes, yes you can send to any phone, not just Nokia, as long as the recepients phone is MMS capable. Indeed, Ruff Rider is 100% again here as Nokia automatically resizes images to fit its screen. The only limitation you will encounter are 2 things:

1 The The maximum size your operator allows you to send or the recepients operator allows their subscribers to receive; and

2 Remember that when sending pictures, what you send will not look as good in a Nokia phone considering that our T610s have 64K color while Nokia phones normally have 4096 colors only. Likewise, as far as sending polytones are concerned, You must take into consideration the maximum number of channels (layers) your recepients midi polytone is capable of playing. While on the T610 we can play up to 32, I know for a fact that a Nokia 6100 can only play 4.

Don't worry too much about the picture size (in terms of KB) as recorded in your T610. Some say it's a bug while others say it's because of encrypting. What I mean is that a 7 or 8KB image in your T610 is reported by the phone to about 40 to 50KB. When sent via MMS, the recepient will only get the original 7 or 8KB file.

Hope this helps.
