if well done, it will double the value of my phone

Uhm, mayby so... Except from when you have to leave it to a service center so they can fix whatever your problem is. And they see that you have been opening the phone to repaint it.. They don't care if your warranty is broken or not, if your telephone is in another colour. They know you have been there and opening it. = No warranty!
(sorry for my bad english)

I gotta say that the black does nothing for me personally and I do like the red but the good value in this thread is the fantastic pictures showing how to replace covers on the T610!

regarding painting a P800
my warranty is almost done for anywayz
and I never had a problem with my P800
and there is no Service Point here so it dont matter

it is double value all the way!

I have lots of knowledge on painting systems & thought i would put some tips on here,

If your spraying onto bare plastic you need to use a "Plastic primer" its a thin clear coating that makes the paint less likely to come off. automotive accesssory shops sell it.

Most phones nowdays are already paint coated so the surface must be very clean, "T Cut" (amonia bassed car cleaning liquid) or any automotive car body cutting compound will do (Non wax), then use a "two pack" paint because anything else will probably wear off at the corners of the phone in a week or two.

If you DO use a car spray paint then best put a coat of clear lacquer over it.(if a car was handled as much as a phone is then the paint would come off that very fast also).
