I have used Carphone warehouse in Wessex gate retail Park, Poole, Dorset for firmware updates and repairs for me SE phones and they have been very quick. I have also used a SE service centre in southampton but have forgotten their name.

Gittins communications on Pershore Road can't do the Updates, they say that the phones keep freezing when they try to do it. which is a pain as it's only about 2 minutes from my house!

also, why do people look at me blankly when I ask them about firmware updates? are they that unheard of?

hmm...

I need a new facia for this phone, too. I dropped it out of 3rd storey window on to concrete. Phone was in Krusell and still works fine but facia chipped. :-(

I ordered a facia on ebay but it never arrived. Got my money back from PayPal and negged the guy! I guess I'm a bit wary now. Let me know how you get on...

Off-Topic (!)
Pity I didn't notice this post earlier - I've got a couple of spare T68i housings you could of had for nothing. Both from T68i's I've repaired myself (a bit of a sideline!)... One is Aqua, the other Grey. Both housings have minor scratches but not too noticeable. Both are OEM. I'll produce a PDF with details on how to replace the housing if you want - PM me, I don't bite!
