I hope realise they need to start marketing their new line very soon and try to push the successor of P800 out before xmas
as a competitor to 6600 otherwise they do run a big risk of loosing
more market if they do this they might/hopefully brake the trend of loosing market and gain some instead.
Alot of ppl I talked to plans to buy a phone with symbian soon
and most of them have said like me they think P800 is to big atleast
weighs to much I fear many gonna go with 6600 if there aint another
phone on the market who can compeat with it.
If has the successor of P800 out on the market alongside with T610 and some more lowbudget phones before the xmas sales they stand a good chanse of increasing their marketshares atleast in sweden
where ppl are starting to look more positive to phones and less
positive to Nokia phones. |

hey need to market to the correct markets whaich they don't seem to do, but this isn' jusy a sonyericsson thing, its a Sony and Ericsson problem neither of the companys have ever been very good atmarketing there products, the both rely on there names to generte sales which is there biggest downfall |

this might sound stupid but does the "t" in the "t" series just stand for telephone?

I think that the T stand for "Trend/Trendy", if I remeber correctly. Ericsson said that at one seminar in my school. |

@cdcjr, Could be "Plasterboard" or "Policewoman". although its more likely to be PDA.

@JForce, Sorry your cred has just gone out the window, you say that T9 would be easier as the flip is hard wired through the hing, rather than touch screen.
IT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE HOW KEYPRESS INFORMATION IS TRANSFERED TO PHONE.
The T9 program just acts on that info after the keypress.
Shame, because now i have to re-evaluate your previous posts.
I must point out at this stage that people who think all New Zealanders are "No nothing Sheep shagers" are being a little unfair"
In fact thats an awfull thing to say about sheep.
@JForce, I mean NO OFFENCE by this whatsoever

Why is there no flip-off option for the user? SE should just have some kind of connector for the flip so that if you want the PDA, you take the flip off and use the stylus and then just attach the flip again when you don't need the PDA. It's all about user preference. |

@Mr_P800, Best not just believe all you read as some posters just post hearsay, i still believe the new version of the p800 will have "flip off" option, the p810 pics even look like it comes off.
The poster @JForce has been put in a position by other members where he is starting to act like someone "In the know" but i think he's acting on rumours, but means well.
