Everybody who owns a T610: you can deleted most (if not all) of your predefined items in a normal manner. No need to abuse your phone by pulling the battery.

@ all voda ppl: branded sw will not be removed by master resetting (or half master resetting) your phone.

I don't know what phone you have ( P800 avatar??) but on a T610 it's is definitely possible.

On phones like T300 it is not possible

Ok ok ok, now this I think is BS, 13 seconds or 15 seconds trick...
I first wrote that I gained memory from 1700 to 2300 .. Well .. I dont think so anymore...

After trying to get more memory than 2300, I found out that everytime I do the trick. .let it be 10 sec or 17 seconds or 13 or 15. .I get exactly the same amount of memory and same objects are still in the memory..

So I at last did a 100% masterreset.. and waited till it was finished!
And my suspicion was correct. .I had the same amount of memory and same objects as with the trick!

So before when I had total of ~1700kb it must have been other stuff taking memory.. somestuff we can't see, or touch if we don't do a master reset.. stuff that dont show in the mem status, it might be cache or tempfiles.. I dont know.. I dont even know if this answer is right..
But I think after I use the phone now as long as I did since I got it, once more I will get ~1700kb in total memory..

My suspicion is that this trick does a cache/temp cleaning.. and nothing else..

Am I wrong!? Or did the trick not work for me at all? Cause I don't see the difference in Master reset 100% or with the 13/15 sec trick.. I get exactly 2319kb in both cases...

has anybody ever thought, that this sort of reset could delet apps that make sure your phone works better? longer battery, better sound, something for the hissing? don't forget that
With Ericsson and Nokia gone: we must keep their spirits alive and buy JOLLA or YOTA

Sorry, I do not agree with whoever said you can delete stuff normally on the T610. I have teo crappy 'rose' and 'flower' images that I'm never gonan use, plus am O2 screensaver that is predefined too. And when you try to delete them 'normally' it says "predifined item cannot be deleted".

So no, it is not possible. Don't believe everything you read online!

flomp, I don't know about the O2 screen saver you speak of as mine is unbranded but the other pics takes very few bytes. So although you cannot delete those you can delete everything else freeing up 99% of the memory.
