i remember my brother used to have the 4th phone along, the PF768 i think it is. It had a rancid 1 line display, but was a quality phone! |

Yep When I purchased a (red) GF788 long time ago, all my collegues where amazed by its small size ! I just loved the flip-cover. Later I bought the SH888 because of the built-in infrared modem...
Since then I have progressed through a Nokia 8210 to the T68 I have right now.
Since I started once with the Sony CMD-1000 (pop-up), you can say I am now back where it all started: Sony-Ericsson

is that a Rose white T39(farthest right)? why is its antenna is colored black. My Rose white T39's antenna is gray. |

wonder why calls that color "rose white"... it's more like beige

to think it took them all those phones before they could seriously compete with Nokia...i've had 3 of those phones and they were all sh**, especially the T28...hyped up peice of crap that phone was and still is! |

Well, when some of those phones got out Nokia was still only making boots
the 337 ie...
but all those phones are just the ones that work 1900 MHz I see, for instanse I see no T10, T18, 788, 688 and so on... 388... |

Jowi, I don't think that it is actually black, but just the way the light from the camera flash has reflected. My Rose White (aka CREAM!) is grey, just like yours. |

Yes those are 1900 mhz phone they are my friends' here in the state. And the t39 antenna is not the stock one it's been replaced with a pullout stem antenna, that was around for the t28/9

ah yes the frist mobile phones, i was one of the first for my age i'm now 18 and i have about 24 phones in my collection.
