Bluetooth Headset vs Cool |

I had a Ericsson HBH 10 Bluetooth headset earlier, now i got the HBH 15.
I always felt kinda cool with the headset.
That was until yesterday...
For the first time I had the headset on when I looked in the mirror, I looked lika a complete idiot.
I had this big piece of plastic thing on my ear, the whole thing was floofing all over the place and the mic boom was pointing strait out in the air, with some green shit flashing.
Maybe the HBH 20 was`nt so bad idea anyway?
But it`s hope. The coming HBH 30 and the Nokia headset has the battery and stuff behind the ear, and the hole thing looks flater.
Why can`t the producers make a "turn" on the mic boom so it`s pointing against your mouth?
You could still use both ears, simply by turn the headet upside down.

I think that all BT headsets look kinda like something out of star trek... and that is not a positive thing. I could never even think of wearing one except in a car where it is very convenient.

The HBH-30 looks great BUT, I am still of the opinion, the HBH-20 is the best looking of all the Ericsson BT handsfree's.
It is most professional looking and clearly the most discreet.

Yepp its nice!
But the HBH-20 feels a bit like its not handsfree with the cable, and the cable is to short to have the phone your pants pocket, so got to have in your shirt pocket, if wearing a shirt. And thats a litte bad i think.

MRNoodles > HBH-20..What do you mean ?
The cable is not connected to the phone, but only sits between headset and the small adapter/device.
The small adapter-thing can then be placed in a shirt-pocket or be positioned on e.g. a shirt-collar.
But I agree with You, that HBH-20 doesnt look like a "wireless" headset

Hi jh67
What I meant was that the cable is to short to reach down to your "pants pockets", from what i heard. Ive never had an opportunity to see and test a HF
And yes then you have to put in in your shirt pocket or on your collar
So i just thinks that the completely "wirelessness" is gone.

Ok
What I mean is, that the phone can be in your pants' pocket. That doesnt matter.
Theres no cable between the phone and the headset/adapter.
The cable is between the adapter and the headset,..not the phone.
The adapter cant be in the pants' pocket, because the cable is too short, that true.
You'll have to wear the adapter/reciever on/in your shirt.
But I do believe that we mean the same thing And its not really wireless.

Any idea why they did the cable so short? Would be nice with an opportunity to wear it in the pocket though
I mean if you dont wear a shirt

Hmm...Could be that the adapter also have a small clip (lock) on the backside, so that you can put it on the shirt collar.
Then the cable doesnt need to be very long.
Thats my best guess

I think HBH-30 more great and nice to wear. |
