Don't you wish that there were a "post feedback" option? So if enough people mark a post as BULLSHIT then the poster won't be able to post for a week. If it happens thrice, he's banned.
That would be sweet. |

I'm sorry people, a friend told me that it was written on the last article on http://www.mobil.se. I didn't read it, I just posted the message rightaway without even reading the article. It does not actually say that (not literally) they have to take all phones back, but they probably have to, right? The hissing is a serious problem with the phone, and if the problem is on all phones (it probably is) everyone have to send it back anyway -- so Ericsson is smart if they take all back by themselves.
I doubt the problem can be fixed by upgrading the software, this is a hardwareproblem -- it surely sounds like it.
The article even says that you have to deliver the phone back til SE if this problem occur. (Says Per Alksten in SE), who also says that they have testet several phones, which also got the same sounddefect.

I doubt they will pull it back... the same with the sound problem on T65... it was never pulled back, just that the dealers was informed by about the problem, and if they wanted to have the faulty units corrected they should send them to a servicepoint... |

Holy shit, he's right....the reason why I thought you were lying was cause you posted no sources....wow, this is bad news...quote from http://www.mobil.se:
"På frågan om när Sony Ericsson kommer att ha lokaliserat felet så att det kan åtgärdas svarar Per Alksten bara att han inte kan ge något svar ännu. Han säger dock att de kunder som upplever problemet ska vända sig till återförsäljaren för att lämna in telefonen."
Translation:
On the question of when Sony Ericsson will discover the reason behind the hissing sound Per Alksten says he can not give any answer. However, he says that customers who experience the problem should contact their supplier in order to turn the phone in.

Exactly! Aa, servicepoint IS SonyEricsson authenticated. It's the same thing to send it back to a servicepoint as sending it to SonyEricsson or they take all phones back or delaying the release |

No, it's different. "Taking all phones back" means it's a product recall. They're not doing that. As for "delaying the release", well it's already released so they can't delay it. |

Well, this isn't good at all... I'm mad. How the hell can they produce millions of phones with a speakerproblem? What about testing some phones before sending them out? Irritating...
Now I guess we have to wait even longer :\ |

If they are taking all phones back (including the ones sold), they have to fix them or make new one -- a new releasedate will be set anyway. |

I'm not bying one of the phones with a defect, that's for sure.. If not SE can guarantee that it can be fixed with a softwareuprade. Anything else would be stupid..
