I've been Nokia user on many, many years. Untill now, when I have a very nice T68. I love it, and now I love Ericsson even more.

When speaking about the comming phones, P800 and 7650 I have something to day. Personally I think the P800 is ugly, it looks cheap and too plasticy, if you know what I mean. And the keyboard which you can wipe down doesn't seem stable at all. It looks like it can brake apart any time. Second of all, it reminds more of old Motorola phones.

I think the 7560 is more elegant and sexy. Inside, I suppose P800 is better than 7650. Nokia will probably release is with a lot of bad bugs like they always do.

Take a look at the pictures of the P800. The wipe-down-keyboard seems to be loose and it sticks 1.5 CM out from the phone it self. No, please. Do something about that, SonyEricsson. Please!

What do you think?

I think its pretty hard to say, when one havent tried any of them out yet.

If its the design-part,..I think the Nokia looks okay. Silvermetallic and black colors looks good. Nice design, doesnt look "to much" like a pda.

The P-800 lacks a bit of style, I think. It looks in some way "cheaper" than 7650, e.g. with the "see-through" keyboard and the very light colors. I hoped that they would have done it in chrome/metallic like the prototype,..much nicer/exclusive looks.
I'm a bit disappointed about the design itself.

The P-800 does have very nice features.
So does the 7650.

But still, one have to try them out "for real" to say more, I believe
They could be much better IRL.

Right now I prefer a very good phone, a very good pda and a good digicam, instead of the "all in one" solution.

I hope that these communicators/multi-phones will be lighter in the future. They are still too big to carry in an e.g. shirt-pocket.

I know. We can't say much about the phones now, we haven't tried them yet. But still, we have the designs. And I wont walk around with an ugly and unstable cellphone.

In my head, 7650 is ahead of P800 in the new race of nice colordisplay and proffesional cellphones.

Personally I think it's better to have an all-in-one-solution, instead of many loose parts. Like a built-in cam prefered before the CommuniCam.

I would like to see P800 with a better keyboard-solution, and other colors\metarial.

I think it would be better to get the it will be released after the Nokia, so they'll see what effect the Nokia has on people and will probably make a few corrections... on the other hand, if you get the nokia, you know it'll be a cool phone for some time, whereas might bring out a P800i a month later

You're right, and I agree with You. It would be nice to have an "all in one" solution, but I just dont think, that I'll get any of these two.
Disadvantages are the weight right now, could be lighter...and probably will be in future-versions.

I would probably wait a while, some others will surely come along too

I'm quite sure, that I'll try them both out, when they arrive.

Hmm, yes but..

Hum, I still think that the P800 is a mis in the design. It's ugly, after my opinion. I will not walk around with that walkie talkie. Very poor, it seems like I have to go back to Nokia again. After my T68 is to old. It SonyEricsson can't fix the P800 though.

No one agrees?

Hopefully, modifies the p800 before releasing it in the q3. Perhaps a change in color and maybe they will get rid of that easy to break flap.

And you don't really have to worry, I'm sure isn't going to just keep quiet once the t68 & t68i gets old. Plus the p800 is going to be released in september or around there and the t68 & t68i will still be rather new.

I have to say that I love the P800!
The only thing I would like SE to change itīs the freeking colours, like T68i the light blue, I think itīs a SISSY colour!
But that will stop me from having one of the best machines around! THE P800!
Sissy colour though, I would prefer a crome one!

hmm .. could I that SE jus wanna cut down the weight of the P800 by using less materials ? e.g cheap plastic ? whereas the 7650 looks more bulky u know ... more reinforced ...

"That will NOT stop me from having one of the best amchines around!"
Sorry
My T68 with the new software will be the perfect phone for me until P800 hitīs the market!
Love 7650 though itīs a Nokia and I would be very afraid that it came with some sort of bug or problem and then be 4 mouths without my new phone because Nokia only give 5 days of exchange waranty!

Exchange waranty! Thatīs when the phone come with any problem you can go to the store and exchange it imediatly for other! And after those 5 DAYS you have to go to a sercive center and have it repaired!
5 DAYS itīs to bad! Itīs the mobile brand that gives less days to exchange here in Portugal!
But Ericsson gives only 7 days too!
