I found this cool little wap site to test my GPRS connection. It's in italian, it is fairly intuitive and it works well nevertheless.

Note: This provides your speed in kiloBITS per second not kiloBYTES. So if you got a result of 3.00kbps you can multipy that by 8 for your speed, which would be approx 24KBps. The second number is how much data was transmitted and the length of time it took.
For best results clear your cache before taking the test, and definately clear your cache if you are going to do it again.

I have no other but i tested it and it says: 1.97kbps! Whatta hell is this?they said they provide a max of 56kbps/sec and my phone has 2slots X 20kbps each!this means a rate of 40kbps not 1.97! Am i missing smtng? Can some1 enlighten me?

I tested mine using t68i with r7e and SUN gprs phil. Result is 10.37 kbps. Btw, im in lucena city, philippines. Not fast enough:-(

I tested the site and got 111.55 Kbps with a T200.
Can it be true?

every time i recheck its getting better, the highest i get is 35.67, is this true? maybe its in the cache thats why its fast but not sure.

That was in bold letters.
I would like to know of what the other no. means.The # below states 32 kbps!Help us italians!
