Same in India ... SE is not confirming the firmware release for t300., anyway have a look at http://clubsonyericsson.com where they have released news that the firmware is for both T300 and 310...

SE give us the new update !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hong Kong Sony Ericsson has R3B. I left my T310 to SE support center today, and going to pick it up tomorrow. ... I hope there will be no disappointment tomorrow.

It's true. The new Sony Ericsson T3x0 software contains a calendar + sync. Check www.clubsonyericsson.com, they even have a screenshot (kind of ;-)).

I got my T310 back today with R3B firmware. In addtional to calendar, I also noticed they fixed the battery indicator problem. Good Job SE!

It also looks like T310 now can sync phonebook and calendar with Outlook or something else. But, ... where is the software to perform such synchronization?

I tried T68i's sync tools, no luck. I may have done something incorrect. Anyone got the sync to work with T310? Please provide assistance. Thank you in advance.

Hey guys,
This is Shamant here. Even I had recd. the new of the new firmware.
I am from Mumbai(previously Bombay), India. Just yesterday after reading the news that SE has provided Calendar and Sync support through Firmware release.
I had been to the Official Sony Ericsson Service Center.
I got it upgraded, but guys....i guess it was a bad luck for me. The latest release available in India ( or may be in Bombay) is
R1G001
prgCXC125509

guys i wanna know,is it something like in some countries the firmware gets released and in some countries it comes later ?
do clear this doubt of mine.
i am bit disappointed with not getting wat i was hoping to. but yeah the navigation and game playing has become faster and the networking has also improved a bit.
in all, i just wanna know is 123 is the software version of a SE phone in Europe, will it be like 111 in India or somewhere in Asia ??? Dont SE mean about Globally having the Software Firmware Version ???
do let me know regarding this...thanks in advance..

regards,
shamant.

I've been told the firmware files are located under ONE shared server, so your story surprises me a little... But I guess that you'll get the update if you're patient :-D

look. se r not gonna be bothered in changing the t300/10 firmware crap. there bringin out new phones every month nd they wana cost money on research nd the furture rather than the past. just think how much memory da calender will take up! users will have no memory on da t300, theres very little anyway

here, this is my first post for ages. month probably. im a lazy **** [addsig]

it appears that they have made the firmware according to others.also if they weren't going to bother in upgrading firmware, why did they with the T68i?for a company as large as they are it would only make sense to add the features people want to keep the sales flowing.

I have a T300 and asked SE in Sweden. Here's the reply:
"Den senaste programvaran till Sony Ericsson T300 är R1G 001 och den innehåller inte någon kalender eller synkroniserings funktionalitet, du har dsessvärre fått fel information från den inte officiella Sony Ericsson webb sidan. Programvaran R3B är lanserad för Sony Ericsson T310."
Short translation is that the R3B is for T310 and no firmware for the T300 is available with calendar and sync.
So, would it be possible to load the R3B on a T300 still (not from an SE service point though) and if yes, how to do it?

nope, I'm not kidding. Kristina at SE Customer Care Center wrote me what I wrote before...

Of course SE will not upgrade a T300 to T310, but it seems to be possible, according to some users on this forum (exodus among others I think...)

Yup, the calendar will probably use a lot of space, but if SE made the 'predefined items' removable, I won't mind!
