i got t300 and i used the "13 second trick" to remove the predefnites.. worked perfectly.. tho i would definitely advse a backup before.. just in case you lose some of your personal data...

I just got the new R3 software for T310, and it has indeed a real fine calendar, a notebook, and even T9 for Hungarian... |

I hope they do put a calendar in & I can IR dates etc between it and my T610 (guess I should be able to) don't see why it only had Events on there when the T65 had a calendar

They did: everything is as promised, and even more!
Calendar, sync - but the notepad and hungarian t9 came as surprise.
I haven't tried with another phone, but with Outlook it (R3 firmware) now certainly can sync the calendar and contacts.

look what happened to t68i petition..... NOTHING!!! they just leave the community daydreaming about java or mophun in t68i. even in its latest version (r8a) there still no mophun. and t68i has already near its end-life cycle, so forget about it.

Ok, lets sum it up:
Se makes T68(i) a wonderfull phone with calendar and a lot of functions. Then they release T610 to follow the path of the T68(i) and among the new functions are java and Mophun.
The release of T300 / T310 was a new path for SE, the phone was very advanced in comparation to their earlier handsets in this segment. The only thing that ruined the fun was that the T300 / T310 was the first phone since T29 / T20 that did not include a calendar. That is odd, even nokias 3510(i) had it!
What do you think is more likely? That they ruin the sale of T610 by adding java to T68i (wich is a old phone by now) or increase their sale by making T300 / T310 sompete better with other phones in it's segment?

And yes sometimes the petitions are wokring (for instance: sony removed the "end search" button on newer MD recorders because of at petition signed by people that had lost valuble recordings because of that stupid button). And if they do, what harm is it to sign one?

Neat!  Gonna upgrade tomorrow morning, can't wait to get it!
That's about the only thing I've missed with the T310, and I couldn't figure out why the h*ll it wasn't included in the first place.
As I'm cursed with a two year old cheap Toshiba laptop, bluetooth have never been much of an issue anyway... I haven't even got IR, which actually sucks in quite a big way. Hopefully the sync will work against MightyPhone as well!
...and notes as well? Beautiful...

As you had said in the forums SE has released a software upgrade for T310 which has calendar and sync features !! But what happened to T300 ?? will it get the same features ? Can you ask the ericsson guy and confirm it to all the t300 users desperate for this feature...

OK... Confirmed that this software is available in Malaysia too for T310. Apparently, T300 will be releasing another firmware similar soon. |

Glad to know that this upgrade will be available for the T300 also.... I also found this news on clubsonyericsson.com., Anyone knows whether the upgrade is already available or the date of release ?
