Well, I contacted Sony Ericsson, and was told that my operator (Telenor) uses a newer firmware than R3B. The phone was bought in Norway.
My brother has a T300, where he can delete what he wants (pictures and ringtones). Is every T300 that way? I want to get rid of all the pictures which are just taking up space, but am a bit afraid to use the 12.5/13 sec trick...
My operator (Telenor) has also replaced the Shortcuts menu with a menu of their own, which I find very annoying... Can i get the Shortcuts menu back? |

Hi all.
Also new here.
I got my T300 just a few weeks ago.
They came with R1B*****
But what is now recommended.
To upgrade it to a T310 with the newest firmware.
Or to use the T300 newest firmware? |

It's illegal to upgrade it to a T310 afaik... They won't do that in SE Service Centres I'm afraid. I suggest you use the newest T300 firmware (R1G), so it won't void the warranty.

I think this R3C software is just a Telenor modification of R3B, dude... Your brother is a lucky b#%£&rd because that's not standard for T300's And there's no reason at all to be afraid of the 13 sec trick, it works perfectly! (I had to perform the... eh... "18 second trick" though )

@ MaThIbUs
I don't got no Warrenty
So no bullsh*t with that
And I don't have to go to a service point.
I got another place where they do that in NL.
So what works better, gimme more memory, and works faster.
The newest firmwaree of the T300
Or the T300 > T310 with newest firmware? |

I just tried synching (XTND), and it seemed to work fine.. The only problem i noticed was that events that should happen every week/month/year or so (don't remember what they are called ) would not be transferred to the mobile. Tasks, contacts and other appointments was transferred |
