At the Esato meeting yesterday a representant from SE confirmed that the T300 / T310 models will have the very same calendar and sync capabillities as the T68i. This is great news and I look forward to test the new SW. I got no other information. Info confirmed by this SE man (Mats):

I just have to take him by the word and spread the message, I believe it's true. It must be one of the most strange things have done ever, to omitt the calendar in T300 / T310.
Only to substantiate my ceditabillity:
Some of you might have used a T310 with calendar or heard of somone that have, in this case the same software will be released for use in t300 adn ship with new models. So don't sell your phone just because there is no sync or calendar.

Ok, my suggestion is to make a petition online (like the t68 petition to obtain mophun in t68) to tell to sonyericsson that we need a new sw version of t300 which allow us to delete predefinite things in t300/t310.

In an italian forum of SE I'm doing it!!! We can do it also here and post the links of the petitions of each nation!!

What do you think? I think that is a great idea!

I think it is logical that the predefined themes and pic stuff will be deleted in the phone to give way to the calendar. Or else there will be very little space left for anything...

The calendar itself probably won't take up any real space anyway. Seeing as it'll be enbedded into the ROM. Only your appts will take any memory by residing in the RAM or on your SIM. Seeing as I haven't seen anything to the effect as to how big the actual ROM is I really won't worry about loosing space. And like the person before me here, we will most likely just loose the pre-installed images and such, whichwouldn't be much of a loss.

Ciao
