What T68 changes would you suggest if you could? |

I'm sure there are a few things we would like to see changed or done differently. I've got a suggestion:
1) Turn off vibrate function when the phone is in a call. Quite annoying to have the phone vibrate on your ear when you receive an SMS in the middle of a call.
Any others?

And maybe the possibily to change the cover ?
(in case of damage, don't need any stupid colorfull case too)

 I would like to see fields for postal adresses in the phonebook. Well, it would be an adressbook then. No need for my Palm V any more .
Then I would prefer to delete the built in logos and replace them with my own.
It would be nice to associate a caller-group with a specific logo.
Ah yes - switch off the network id and the clock on the screen (both the screensaver and the small one). I know which network I'm using. No need to throw that info against me all the time!
 I hope all this comes with R2. Most important before all that MMS stuff would be the adressbook.

3 more fields in the address book...
and the keylock panel smaller, in order to see if you have a missed SMS or call without the obligation of turning off the keylock !!

1. an automatic shutdown (you can give a time the phone automatically shuts down).
It comes in handy at night(don't want to be reached on my phone) and it saves the battery.
2. More slots to save custom backgrounds
3. Faster OS (that has been mentioned before)but you can't emphasize that enough...

I think the T68 is awesome as is; of course things can always be improved.
What I would like to see improved is the voice command option. THere is a movement, albeit small at this moment to prohibit the use of cell phones while driving, NY is currently the only state with this legislation, with this in mind, i would like to see the voice control work better |

Automatic profile change (not only question as is possible now) when a meeting starts/stops in the calendar.
 Return to main menu or blank screen as an option when pressing the "menu" button in any window...
A better (more thorough) users manual that covers all the features of the phone.
Possibility to send WAP-links over Bluetooth and IR, not only over SMS.
I love my phone, but good can always get better... |

I would like the ability for the T68 to be able to send to and receive e-mails from Japanese mobile phones and PC's. See posting on 2001-12-01 11:49
The R380s could receive from a Japanese mobile. Maybe this is because of IMAP4? and I think the T68 doesn't support it.
I don't expect to see Kanji, Hiragana and Katakana but I do think Romaji should be possible.i.e. the aplhabet because the Sony J5e can both send and receive.
Hmm!! A big Christmas wish! I think firmware upgrades won;t ever achieve it and all I can do is wait for the Sony firmware developers to talk to the Ericsson ones.
Any ideas folks?

Hmm, some would go for a better sms-part, I mean it could be faster. Personally I dont care,..but some do

You have to have a "car-kit" or headset.

SO yes,..I would go for an even better Voice-control, on the T-68 too.
Actually, it might not be the phone itself that would need much improvement,...more like the headset (bluetooth). Its too difficult to get this to work in the right way, with the phone.
