I can't believe you guys are complaining!
Over here in Belgium there's no such thing as buying phones with contracts! If we want a new phone, we have to pay full price... And for the record: that's currently 830 euros... |

Yes but maybe your tariffs are cheaper there in Belgium? |

I wouldnt pay £110 for it.
800 Euros seems steep when you can get it from SE for £400 |

Belgium does not have contracts? That sounds pretty hard to believe. I personally think you mean that once you have a contract and want a new phone, you have to buy the phone seperately at the full price and transfer the SIM, or get a new contract (and number) at a reduced phone price and pay double monthly fees. This is about the same as in NL.
You're lucky if you happen to need a new contract when buying your P800, saves you a lot of money |

Believe me if I say that there's no such thing as buying a new phone at special rates with contracts!
If you want a new phone or contract, you have to get them separately. |

Try Thailand equivalent of 500 pounds, and no discounts. GB is still the only place where phones are subsidised by phone companies, I wish the rest of the world would catch on.

Nope the UK is not the only place where phones are subsidises. In Greece 9 out of twelve months (3 months of no subsidising allowed) most of the networks provide quite heavy subsidies. You could the T68i free in June! And before vodafone entered the greek market i have to say tat companies were much more generous when subsidising phones when upgrading |

vodafone retail did not put the price of the the p800 up or the price of the gd86 or gx10
and if you spend lots on your bill (over 70 pounds) you should still get a good price on your upgrade
