make sure his bluetooth is set to "Discoverable", then find the file on ur fone and from the menu go to "Send as" and change it to "Bluetooth" and click "Done", it'll then search for BT devices and should find ur friend's P800, then just click on it and click "Send"

Hope this helps

are you using file manager to do this, because every time i click on a file it opens the file up, but i can't delete it or send it.

cheers

no mate, i assume ur tryin to send a pic/video/mp3 or something? just view the file in its normal place. for instance, say u want to send a picture, open up Pictures, and click on the one u want to send so it brings it up for u then click on the Pictures menu (top left) then Send as

edit: if u want to select a file in File Manager without opening it, just click on the icon to the left of it (not the actual file name)

How do I send files like ringtones via BT?

File manager only gives me the option to beam them over IR

I can send pics ok but what about other stuff?

To send audio files you must have your audio player in the right mode.
In the bottom left corner above the battery indicator there are to little buttons. One displaying a note, the other a list.
To send files the audio player must be in list mode.
When in list mode you send files just like in every other mode...
