Erick, try their customer service... mine is working great... don't know about last night if the problem was in Sun or Globe's part... we'll verify.

Sun's post paid plans are consumable, meaning, the monthly service fee could be applied to NDD, IDD, text and other extra services... this reminds me of Smart's old plans which they are not offering now.

kainis naman ang sun. ang hina ng signal sa amin. i always have to go out and "look for the sun" bago magka-signal. sana they launched their service when it's already fully functional. free text applicable to other networks pero bakit nabawas sa load ung text ko to globe? sabi ng customer service within this week pa raw magiging fully functional. tapos ang hirap pa mag-connect to Customer Service (200). isa pa, di ako makatawag sa Globe landline namin sa bahay. =(

my number is 0922-31013xx
but i still use my globe # 0917-99999xx

i have the same experience as JWBlue, sent 5 messages to diff. globe subscribers informing them of my new sun pre-paid, they never got them. but, it was deducted from my load. bummer. and yeah sometimes you have to "look for the sun" to get a signal. delayed na nga ang launch, masama pa rin ang service.

kapjack, gprs and The Mall services are free until April 15 daw... no info on how much they will charge gprs after that.

bal, the post paid plans are consumable and could be applied to ndd, idd, text and other value added services somewhat like the old Smart plan.

We have to remember that the old consumable Smart plans (the cheapest being plan 600) are very much in demand now and are being sold in the buyers market for almost P5,000... Digitel's Sun Cellular is offering its lowest consumable plan at P250 and to add more enticements, Sun's call rates (local and ndd) are slashed for the first 6 months.

"The Mall" is a Sun's version of Globexplore and Zed where one could access information and value added services from the sim itself.
