Was: Can u help???

I'm not sure if u guys are familiar with the movie "Kiss of the Dragon" by Jet Li.... tis not really an outrageous film, but I think that the phone he used in the movie was an Ericsson phone... I was wondering if anyone here knows what kind of phone that was (what model) if it was indeed an Ericsson phone or if it wasn't, then what kind of phone was it?

Thanks, y'all!!!

Not sure of the model, definetely an Ericsson but I reckon it's Hong Kong 's spec! Meaning only avaiable in Hong Kong.

I for some reason I thought the phone in kiss of the dragon was a Kyocera phone. They have some phones that are similar in style. I checked the SE Hong Kong site and there is nothing that resembles the phone in the movie.

Oh, that phone was Siemens S40.
It was obvious from the side-profile and colour of the handset.

It was not silver so s40 it aint. Could it be an Alcatel since the location was in France and the phone could stand on its own. Take note that the phone didnt have an antenna.Ericssons T65 was the first.B4 that all have xternal antennas.

The phone had a blue transparent plastic part on its side.
The colour of the phone may not look silver, I agree it was more like white (ish), but colour can easily deceive human eyes due to bright lighting under which filming takes place.

No Alcatel or Ericsson phones to date have this transparent blue plastic part (Nokia 3510i has a similar looking part in orange colour) on its side. If in doubt, why don't you check all the photos of all Alcatel and Ericsson phones and see for your self. I have done it, and I can tell you that the phone was 100% Siemes S40.

S40 is THE ONE.

i don't think it's an S40... i mean, it really looked small, kinda like a T68/T68i, plus it's kinda blue and not silver (check it out again from d movie)...

anyway, am jus' gonna sneak this question in:
is the mitsubishi m320 an ok phone to buy??? 'tis really affordable, and from the reviews seems to have better display than the nokia 7210/6610/6100/5100/7250 phones on the market today... the only downside i think would be the mere 3-chord polyphonic tones plus no mms capability (hmmm... would i already be needing an mms phone?? it doesn't seem to be "hot" yet..)... the tones are really quite disappointing as the nokia phones are better in that aspect.... hmmm... any thoughts about the m320???

hmmm... but my alternative to the m320 is the t68 (in terms of affordability), which i am not so sure coz it has only 256 colors vs 4096, plus the m320 is (somewhat) polyphonic unlike the t68....

(why t68 and not the t68i? coz i think the "light orange" keypad backlights suit the phone better than the blue keypad backlights... white keypad backlights are the best though, unfortunately only nokia seems to see that..)

so what about the KOD phone??? is it really an ericsson or not?? what model is it? wat r its features, etc...
