Mine has to be either Opera or eChess...

I'm hoping it will turn into eDoom though, once I have learnt how to use the impossible interface!

I've just downloaded Handy Day and Handy Safe but haven't had a play yet - I hear they are quite good....

What is the must have download you just found out about?

Apologies if this is somewhere else (if so, can you reply with a forum link so we can go there instead?) I did do a search (briefly) and couldn't find a similar post in this forum...

How does Worldmate get it's info?

I ask because I'm seriously worried about my GPRS usage - i'm racking up the MB far too quickly!

I heard about a little workaround for getting full internet over WAP? Is this possible or a rumour?

WorldMate require very little GPRS usage. Updating the currencies etc. takes like 2KB..

Wow! Cool, downloaded it immedeately

How long is the trial time? Or are we missing some functions since not buying it?

The trial seems to be based on the number of times you use it. I have now used mine 21 times and cannot use it anymore. I'm gonna buy it now, this is one app that I think is definitely worth the dough!

So far, these are the 3rd party apps I like:
-Handy Day
-Safe
-World Mate
-Mobipocket reader Pro
-Oxford Language Set for Mobipocket reader
-Appforge
-Shopping List

I only wish they wouldn't make these apps so expensive!!! For example... Handy Safe and Safe offer the same encryption strength... Safe even offers Voice alarms... Safe only costs $9 while Handy Safe costs $20!!!! And seriously, even the GUIs of these two apps look exactly alike.

I feel most of these apps that price themselves at $15 and above are missing out on a lot of people who don't think they're worth that price. Come on... Bug Me for $20?!?!?! Most of these apps look like their worth $10! Oh well... just griping. The only app I feel has priced it self well is Interstellar Flames at $7! Great 3D engine, weird controls though... but worth the $7. Well... then there's the free Golf app.

jplacson- do you have the trial version of worldmate or the purchased one? If you have the trial, is there a time limit to its usage or are the features just limited?

WorldMate
Handy Day
Handy Safe

I use the above three every day, they are a major part of my P800 now.

Worldmate is my favorite because of the cool daylight map and the fact you can get currency & weather updated daily (as often as you like)

I find the weather to be accurate, how does everyone else find it ?

The prices seem fairly good value to me especially WorldMate. When you consider you dont have to subscibe for the WorldMate updates (daily) I think the price(s) are good

Off topic -

Celebrate with me, this is my 1st post direct from my P800!

Don't get me wrong I love Esato, but it's a shame that there has to be banner ads on the forum pages as it's encouraged me to turn off images in Opera to conserve GPRS usage.

Anyway, enough Off topic!

What is the Mobipocket Reader?
