Er, no. Despite all the hoo-ha about 3G, the amount of money the 3G folks paid for those spectrum licenses tells me that it's going to be super, super expensive to get onto 3G, at least for the next while. |

so what do you expect it to be? for a price that high. do you think it's price is justifiable? what do you think would make the p800 better? |

Who cares about 3g?
I won't be out for at least a couple of years!
And I will not have the p800 by then.
The sequel to the p800 wil most likely be in my hands. Perhaps even the sequel of the sequel.
3g would only have made the phone more expensive and maybe even bigger... |

My first day with the P800 was not very pretty, to the point that i wanted to sell it, post haste. Fortunately i did not sell it. Just took me a while to get used to the phone (jog dial and all) and now, it's part of my essential tools. And yeah, you can say i'm happy with my new phone. |

Well... I have 3 gripes, which I wish they did differently for the price of the P800:
1) 16-bit transreflective screen w/ light sensor so the thing wouldn't turn on the backlight if it was in broad daylight
2) I wish they could've made the P800 thinner... 1" is a bit too fat for me.
3) MINERAL GRAY COVER!!! Or something other than baby blue!!!! |

I am very happy with mine! And selling my iPaq, T68i and accessories pretty much paid for it...
So far, I can do pretty much anything that I was doing with an iPaq and T68i, but it fits in my pocket! I coulndn't carry the both of them in a pocket at the same time...

3g? no thanks!
until 2005 it will be too expensive for average people to afford.
what does 3g have that p800 doesnt? video phone? would like to see how it works!
in slovenia, you will have to pay 60 EUR for 3g subscription only !

It is great, allthough I miss the Ericsson typical YES and NO buttons and SMS delivery reports. Looks cool and doesn't disturb in a pocket. It's not a brick! The screen-use with the pencil is great.
I gave 466 € with a Vodafone contract of 12 months and am very happy with that. It's worth it. |
