Bro, I don't care for GSM Arena but with their photo comparison tool you can make a decision for yourself so as much as people love iPhone images YOU can decide if you like the over saturated or not. I trust my eyes more than anyone else. You need a level playing field and that's not the case. Granted Sony isn't the best but its no way that bad. Show me with real evidence that it's that bad and I'll accept, not like this biased nonsense. | |

1. State that they are a Sony fan.
2. Let them win even where they lose.

I get your point. I have one problem:
I watch a lot of real life reviews on YouTube. They usually refrain with my own experience with devices.
When half of the reviewers were bashing the phone I was enjoying, and the other half was close to real life experience, I thought something is not right. Definitely.
Now just look how good Xperias were scoring on DxO in the past, when the phones were WIDELY criticized for their camera performance. I remember that. Now all the reviewers priase the Xperia camera improvements, and DxO says it's sh..t. I mean, for me it's basically less and less reliable.
GsmArena also changed their camera reviews and made it closer to reality. I remember the moment they understood the importance of manual settings in Xperia cameras when Auto was underperforming. And suddenly the results were better...
I also think the camera reviews by those phone reviewers are more and more meaningless. They hace no tools for that operation.
Also - you really believe those websites and channels are 100% objective? I don't. It's a market game, especially with big websites and channels.

Their problem is not with their professionalism but with their integrity which nowadays is null and void.
It's not just Sony, other brands suffer too while others get undeserved credit. One could argue that today DXO mark's ranking reflects payments rather than mobile camera quality.

Hey everyone, lurking as always.
Enjoying my xa2 ultra.
Question.
I'm about to get a new car, it has qi wireless charging, and the Xperia 1 doesnt but the xz3 does .
For the price I can get the xz3 and longevity (2years I intend to use) what does everyone think?
the wireless isn't a deal breaker cause my car will have it but if my car has it why not use it at times right lol...
Or wait till September and see what the next phone is after x1 and get the newer phone or maybe even get x1.

But I'll be getting a dedicated MP3 player and chucking in a 1tb microSD (finally releasing this year) card to have in the car.

Say what you will about fanboys but the truth is that there is favoritism. The P30 Pro is amazing, it's worthy of tne praise but then you look at the S10 which is the same level as the Pixel 3 yet it will get a nice comfy score putting it in second place so it justifies upgrade from the S9. I'll look for the article but there is one that compares all the Galaxies and it looks like the S8 was the best. Having a bokeh mode skews the results but fundamentally the S10 should have a score similar to S8 because that is logical. I'm not saying Sony is the best, far from it but you can't judge unless there is consistency. |

I can even judge with my eye. I move from XZ1 to P20 Pro and understand about why did it get the high score. This is not about favoritism.

It is good in some regards but at the same time it is faulty in colour reproduction or detail - the detail
is actually produced by the device. Yet the review doesn't reflect that.

The other thing is the GSM Arena blind comparison, forget about the poll results but you see the photos and each person will have their own preferences. When you have flowers people tend to like the high contrast and over exposure. For buildings people want detail. I personally like realistic color and sharp detail so unless there is something horrifically bad then I don't care much for DXO. Also, I urge people to try out the phone in person, I'm particular about how the software behaves and how quickly I easily I can take photos. I find that little things can change my opinion very quickly because I look at the day to day use. |

sony mobile has a new features. by this it can be function only when it connected with wifi. so do linksys e1200 setup . so you do all type of software updation. you can browse high speed data . your mobile will be spam free. |
