@XJ

I like the Xperia Agent. It looks quite versatile.

MWC has another event in the Summer it seems.

I think it's also time for a new Smartwatch 4.

The only thing I'm not understanding about Qualcomm, whats stopping them from going more slow speed ? 480fps minimum, their SoC are more than capable of handling such speeds from basic raw numbers

1x 4K@60fps stream requires same bandwidth and horsepower as 1080p@240fps, which is also like 720p@540fps... even if we consider overhead then 720p@480fps which is like how iPhone have been doing for a while...

I know that such speeds also require a sensor as not every sensor can handle such speeds, but most high-end sensors do.. I mean iPhone is using Sony sensors already !!

Just support it and let manufacturers decide if they want to implement it or not..

Is there a phone that supports recording videos at 4K@60 fps? Why do you think S835 would support that?

@goldenface
I'm very interested to see a new SW from Sony.remember the tapered loop design from bond leak?
PS:I remember checking shanghai MWC for last two years. no announcements there
@Xajel
I would also love to see 1080@240fps. I'm a big fan of timeshift which is 720@120fps

@Ambivalent
based on specs it's easily possible.

My bad, I mixed up things ( I thought 820 was capable of both decoding and encoding at 60 )...

regardless of that, why not going faster ? MediaTek X10 (MT6795) & X20 (MT6797) are already capable of handling 480fps not only for 720p but even for 1080p... and X10 was announced in 2014 with devices like Meizu MX5 released in 2015 already having it but I don't know if it's software really supported such speed... ofcourse the SoC had to be paired with IMX220 sensor to be able to handle such speed

I think I would like to see future Xperias looking less angular. I do like the designs but would like to see a change.

I just want to see more metal in the designs. There is nothing really premium about plastic IMO.

Also, Sony might launch its first mobile game soon.

LMAO ... it just sounds stupid "Sony might launch its first mobile game soon". Sorry Goldenface I don't intend to mean this to you but the media as a whole making that statement - just to be clear.

Sony has made MANY mobile games: PlayStation Portable and Playstation PSP - ALL the games for those are mobile, some specifically from Sony in partnership with other company's. So unless Sony creates one from scratch - wait minute isn't Rachet & Clank pure Sony? Hmmm.
