For what you want your best choices are a high quality tempered glass back or a transparent back case.
I'm debating between the black and chrome versions and will most likely get ultra thin quality leather folder case. That is after watching a few z5p reviews. |

ebay clear gel case, you should find a bunch of them for dirty cheap. I only get clear hard or gel case for all my xperia, because there is no point of getting any xperia phone if you are just going to cover the design with some ugly as case.

It is a matter of taste, what one prefer and willing to risk. "ugly case" like you said is one example. I'll oppose what you wrote. There are beautiful premium ultrathin leather folder cases like stilgut sell. The advantage with such case is that it protects the whole phone, the phone is not bulky despite the full protection, feels premium in comparison to a plastic clear case, hard to scratch and scratches are not seen, you don't have to install a front tempered glass which will be stuck there forever and generally tg degrade from clarity and touch or risk damaging the front and can easily remove the case and use the phone bare to show the beautiful xperia design if want to when you know it has less chance to be damaged, even using clear back case ruins the xperia design. |

I will buy stilgut or tetded folder first as a default first and then i might experiment with that transparent combo but i would look for other transparent back case because i don't really like the plastic buttons on top of the phone's volume and camera buttons, i prefer to feel the phones buttons. Afaic, they should have just made cutout for the buttons.

So I preordered the Z5P today at Sony ( Australia )
For $1200
Bonus offer is unknown yet . They did say the oem cover comes with z5c and z5s and don't know what the premium is getting but z5p should beavailable first half of November, if I heard right.

I'm getting the chrome my last 5+ phones have been black and the chrome is sleek +reflective which I find cool ; and the ladies will love it 
I've got clear back and front screen protectorS
Got a plastic and rubber tpu case temporarily .
And will be getting the nillkin armor border case when it's available for the XZ5P for long term
I've got this one for the z3 now

I like it cause the back is open and won't heat up as fast as flip covers or the temp rubber and plastic case that I've got for it.

Regarding the Nillkin Amazing H+Pro, is it only for front or there's another one for back side ? You know the back side desperately needs a very strong Anti-finger print coating while not affecting the camera.. specially for the Chrome and Gold finish colors

The back one will come out soon, they have it for the z3 range.
If you must know send them an email and ask when it's coming out for the XZ5 range ,no harm in asking
