There are articles coming out all over the internet that the Z5 camera app shuts down due to overheating..So the dual heat pipes are used only in the Z5 premium? I was sure of buying the Z5 and now my fears about SD810 are coming true

The one article I read was concerning the models at the Sony boots itself, now counting in the fact that the phones are constantly being charged and all the passing people using it, in some cases even overusing it to test the heat management it is only normal that the phone gives up. Take a look a t the 10min 4k video from btek (?) All went well since he was the only one using the phone. Now this is just a thought, I might be wrong in all this and the phone might still be poor in heatmanagement, best we can do is wait for a review.

We can only hope for Sony's own sake that the Xperia Z5 series doesn't suffer from the overheating issue.
But after having seen the video from Btek, I am sure they have sorted the problem.

That Snapdragon 810 better not ruin what has to be pretty much the best phone in 2015 so far.

The measures Sony have taken to dissipate the heat in the Z5P hopefully make the difference. The Z5P is also larger than the Z5, so that may help quite a bit with heat.

Lets wait and see what the reviewers say. I hope we get more coverage of the Z5P, I am not even the slightest bit interested in the regular Z5, its the most boring of the 3, but it seems to be the one getting the most coverage.

Fingers-on with the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact's fingerprint scanner Definitely one of the fastest finger print scanners on the market if not the fastest.

can finger print scanner read heat rate? Z5P does loooks like the best thing ever, only downside is 3GB ram. Need 4GB for future proofing.

Isn't Timeshift mode considered as slow motion for you?

I just feel that people believe it's easy to implement slow motion technology at Full HD resolution and high frame rate.

the Z5's video capability with the new sensor and lenses makes the Z3 look like trash. granted the Z3 probably looks good normally but wow.. what a comparison. colors, sharpness.. everything is better on the Z5. makes me excited about the new sensor and camera tech.
