From what I can see in this video, Z3+ takes better photos.

No...It was a clear and incontestable victory of Galaxy S6 !

There is currently no cell phone available for sale to be able to surpass the quality of picture and video from Galaxies S6 Edge, S6, Note 4 and the great LG G4 !!!

P.S: Sorry Sony Boy

No problem Sammy boy!
I realized long time ago that theoretical whining is the main fun of guys like you.
Even if reality says different.
So no hope here but good luck!

Overheating has been addressed already.
There are also videos showing it actually overheats less than some other top smartphones.

The Z3+ has a much improved camera so a blind test would fix that I bet. Also, grab each phone and go test for yourself, then you'll realise that there isn't much of a difference. A lot of unnecessary d**k waving going on here over a phone.

I forgot to mention, played PS4 on the Z3+ and it was awesome, it will blow your mind how good it looks and performs. Metal Gear Ground Zero and Bloodborne....get your Samsung toys out of this thread.

The ONLY annoying thing on Z3+ is that
apparently ATM you can only control ISO manually on 8mpx.
This cannot be done on 20mpx. Shame.
Hopefully this will come soon.

Hi,
I'd like to ask... How was it addressed? Did they replace the chip? Or are you telling of a software update that intentionally throttles the speed so it wont overheat? So it can now be charged while its on?

Serious question.

Thanks for answering... if you could maybe provide some links too? thanks again.

cheers!

Yes, this has been addressed via software update and slight performance throttling.
The links are somewhere here and also on Xda forums. I'm a bit on the go ATM so I can't quickly find them now.
There is a video on Youtube with overheating test S6 - Z3+ for sure.

Thanks for that link. Part of the reason Im asking is that a friend is on the fence about getting the Z3+ or not... and having seen a lot articles about the 'overheating', he's postponed his plans on getting one.

According to that link... there were still a lot of owners who's having issues with their phones. Some even had problems AFTER updating, imagine that. In my opinion only, forcibly "slowing it down" or throttling back some of its performance.... is not really solving the problem. For me, its more of a temporary fix, than a permanent solution.

Anyway, thanks again...

cheers!

I would think the opposite!

Xperia Z2 was overheating like that just after launch.
There were reports, articles, shouting etc...
And than it was perfectly managed on the software side.
Now my Z2 is just perfect in this regard. NO OVERHEATING problems.
Even with GPS Nav for 2 hours in the very hot sun...
The only place where it can overheat is 4k video, which is normal
on every smartphone today ( without any cooling system).

So I think this software management may be solving it just fine.
Like on S6 or G4 which also overheat...
And have much worse battery life.

Despite S6 having a QHD Display, and a much smaller Battery, it beat the Z3+ in GSMArena's battery test, so I'm not quite sure what you're on about.

The S6 certainly does not overheat the way the Z3+ does, the mere fact that a Network (NTT DoComo) had to issue a warning for the Z4/Z3+ is a big sign of a problem much bigger than any other devices.

You may clutch at straws to make yourself believe the Z3+ is good, but in reality we know and even Sony as well as Qualcomm know it isn't.

If I were you, I wouldn't bother responding to this as Sony, NTT DoComo and the Z3+ users in mass have all pretty much echoed the fact that the Z3+ has major issues.

You are free as always to disagree, but that would be pointless as Sony themselves proved my point.

Like I said, Sony, Qualcomm and NTT DoComo already did the job of proving that the Z3+ has issues.

You may go ahead and flood this thread with links that you have cherry picked all you want, but the Manufacturer, the SoC manufacturer and a carrier all say the opposite and they have a huge interest in the success of the Z3+.

Would that be Sony, NTT DoComo and Qualcomm propaganda then???

I'm sure you'll be saying 'fack' every review site and reviewer when they post things you don't like about your favourite phone maker.
